BSJG – Submit a Job offer to Berlin Startup Jobs on Facebook

You probably landed here because you wanted to submit a

job offer to the Berlin Startups Jobs group (BSJG)

on Facebook. Great! More Jobs is always good. Because the group has so many members, there are a few requirements for posting. If you look at the postings in the group, you can see how the fields below result in the posting.

Requirements

  •  BSJG is for job offers in Berlin startups only
    A startup is going for high growth and large scale. Agencies, some artisan crafts or typical small businesses may be ‘starting up’ but they are no startups.
  • Your startup name and website 
    In order to check the above I need the startup name and website. Recruiters can post for the startups they search if the startup is given.
  • Your entries must be in english
    BSJG is a english group. Everything you enter for the posting in the group must be in english but you can of course link to a non-Englisch job description.
  • A  name and mail contact 
    This will not be included in the facebook group posting, but I need it in order to communicate with you in case something goes wrong.

Once you submit, I will check them in the backend and if they meet all criterias, I post them to the group. All others will be deleted. Depending on my schedule this might take a bit of time but usually I am fast with this.

 

Submit a job offer

  • This is the subject which will go out in the email notifications, the digest version and will be the first line of the posting - so rather make it relevant. ;) If you have more than one job posting, count them and put "X job offers" into this field.
  • Best start with "$startupname is looking for ..."

    Don't forget to include an "about us" part - surprisingly enough the reader may never have heard of you (or you have pivoted one too many times ...)

    If you have more than one job offer, list them here one by one like "- programmer (link to job offer programmer) - designer (link to job offer designer)"
  • Remember that many people may have never heard of you or you have pivoted one too many times for other to keep up with. ;) This is a 300 char 'about me' box at the end of the posting.
    Do you require the applicant to work in Berlin or can they also apply for remote work? (This is a "to unnecessary avoid questions" parameter. )
  • An link to a website with more information about the job, how to apply etc must be provided.
  • Please list which languages are needed for this job and the level. Example "English and Danish fluent, German not needed, office language English". (This is a "to unnecessary avoid questions" parameter. )

  • Submitter information

    The following fields will NOT be part of the posting in the facebook group but are just for administrative purposes.

  • Enter the link to your job overview (even better: to your feed of new job entries) so they can be scanned in the future for easier posting. (will not be part of the posting)
